WHAT IS THE CERELIAS PROJECT:
WHO IS ORLANDO ?
Updated 12th June 2015 GET INVOLVED with the new Micro Projects.
HOW CAN YOU VOLUNTEER OR DONATE TO THIS WORK OR SIMPLY FOLLOW OUR PROGRESS?
The Cerelias Project is a Rescue Center for Confiscated Animals set in the Alto (high) Andies of Peru in a part of the world known as Cordillera Escalera of the Amazon Rainforest.
Mission Possible have built a holistic unit for this center, and below in photos and films you will see on location.
We are bringing modern technology and EM to the Jungle ( Indigenous Effective Microorganisms ) we endeavour to bring more comfort to the project and have a continued presence at the project site.
This model was built at the MIP PERU offices,
Based on the following available items in Peru.
So we help turn a Project with small funds in to this, first we build it at the offices in the city:
Then the hardest part was sending all the dismountable parts to the jungle and to location.
So with this mission we have proved that it is possible to build reasonable holistic and auto sustainability structures in the deep jungle.
Even if it means using 20 Military personel to get the pre-constructed parts to the location which includes 28 river crossings and 10 kms of beautiful but daunting Amazon rainforest.
Orlando and his vision:
Orlando decided some 15 years ago or more that animals should not be in the City and created this home, out of nothing, in the jungle with an intent to see all these captive animals freed.
He works 24/7 and he works from within, We can vouch for that.
He has helped rescue nearly a thousand animals and returned over 800 animals of all kinds of species back to their natural habitat.
Here is what awaits you at the Rescue center.
and some more with some of the volunteers who find distractions galore.
So hats off to Orlando for going against all odds and authorities and thinking for himself and now also a giant hats off to all those volunteers that come to Peru and help him, it certainly is not easy here on site.
Here is Jack with a memorable photo as a volunteer at the Site.
And here are a few other volunteers soaking up the Cerelias energy
There are still many mini projects required at the Project site like a new Holistic rocket stove and biochar hot water maker and a new volunteer accomodation center which MIP and Orlando hope to build very soon.
Here is the best of the animals at Cerelias video :
Not forgetting the famous Pichicos monkeys:

Project 4) a new 2 storey House meshed in with fishing nets for the volunteers to be animal free and a great water collector with solar panels. Details coming soon.
